Teens ages 11-16 will hunt for eggs by flashlight and enjoy a pizza party. Dress for the weather and make sure to bring a flashlight and a bag for your eggs. 6-8 p.m. March 22. $5.

Crown Point

Hosted by Living Hope Church, this huge Easter egg hunt features 250,000 eggs, 300 prize-filled eggs (with prizes including bikes, iPods and baskets), a multiple helicopter candy drop, face painting, bounce houses and the Easter bunny. Gates open at 9 a.m. and the helicopter candy drop and egg hunt begin at 10 a.m. March 30. Free.


Easter Egg Hunt and Jump

Kids will be divided into age groups (1-3, 4-6 and 7-9) to hunt for eggs with baskets provided by FunFlatables, with more eggs released throughout the hunt so everyone can collect plenty of eggs. After the hunt, baskets will be collected so the jumping can begin and each child will receive a basket full of Easter goodies at the end of the event. Golden eggs can be redeemed for a free open play token. Registration and pre-payment required. 5:30-7:30 p.m. March 20, 9-11 a.m. March 23, 25, 29 and 30 and 6-8 p.m. March 30. $12 per child.


Flashlight Easter Egg Hunt

Before the hunt, participants will enjoy pizza and pop at Town Hall. After hunting in Elmer Miller Park, kids will head back to Town Hall for a raffle. Registration required by March 20. Event is for kids ages 9-12. Don’t forget to bring a flashlight and bag for your eggs. 7-8:30 p.m. March 22. $11 residents, $12 non-residents.

Kids ages 8 and under will be divided by age group to hunt for eggs. Following the hunt, each age group will have a raffle for prizes. The Dyer Chamber of Commerce will also be on hand starting at 1 p.m. for pictures with the Easter Bunny–bring your own camera! Hunt starts at 2 p.m. March 23.

This is a whimsical evening of adventure, swashbuckling songs and hidden treasures. Kids will follow a pirate map to look for eggs containing pirate gold. Reservations required by phone or online beginning March 1. The Easter Bunny is coming to visit. Bring a basket to hunt for eggs. Hunt is open to kids ages 1-12, with an area for kids with special needs. Prizes and baskets will be given away. In the event of inclement weather, baskets will be raffled off in the gym at the Tri-Creek Administration building, 195 W. Oakley Ave. 10 a.m. March 30. Free.

Hunt for eggs throughout the mall to collect candy and look for special golden eggs that are filled with candy and gift cards from select retailers. Other activities include a petting zoo with chicks and bunnies, crafts, face painting, stories from Humpty Dumpty, balloon flowers, and photo opportunities with the Easter Bunny. Noon-4 p.m. March 30. Free for WFamily members. WFamily is a free membership-based program from Westfield Shopping Centers.  If attendees are not WFamily members, on-site registration is available at the event.

Egg hunts in the store will take place from 1-2 p.m. March 23-24 and 30-31. Registration begins at 12:30 p.m. at the main entrance. Kids ages 2-10 will find five eggs and then bring them back to registration to exchange for candy. Easter crafts will also take place from 1-4 p.m. March 23-24 and 30-31 and from 6-8 p.m. March 29. Get a free photo with the Easter Bunny 6-8 p.m. Monday-Friday and 1-4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday March 23-31. All activities are free.

Bring your basket to hunt for eggs and meet the Easter Bunny at the event hosted by MOMS Club of Valparaiso. Face painting will be provided by Victory Christian Academy. Families can also purchase goodies at a bake sale and win raffle prizes. The event is free, but donations will be accepted for Housing Opportunities of Valparaiso, with a food drive also being held. 10 a.m. March 30.
